Welcome to the Sage Sanctuary
A space to pause, breathe, and regenerate. Life can feel overwhelming and flourishing may seem far out of reach. But here, we believe that flourishing is not about avoiding challenges- it’s about finding hope, possibility and purpose, even in difficulty.
Step 1: Start Small
Small acts of care and attention can create ripples of change.
Choose one to begin with:
Take a Breath: Pause and settle your bodymind: notice 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can touch. Place a hand on your belly and one on your chest, lower your gaze, take a quiet breath in through your nose, pause then slowly breath out, stretching the out breath as long as you can.
Practice Gratitude: Reflect on one thing you’re grateful for today. Visit the resources here
Create a Moment of Ritual and Space: Enjoy a mindful walk, journal your thoughts or sip tea quietly.
Step 2: Engage with Hope
Active Hope Training: Explore Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone’s work to transform despair into action.
Reflection Practices: Spend 5 minutes a day in silence, gratitude or journalling to reset your perspective. See here for more information on expressive writing for health
Connection: Reach out to someone you trust or join a group where you feel supported.
Step 3: Explore Resources
Discover tools and support to help you navigate challenges and move towards flourishing. These resources are here to inspire, guide, and connect you on your journey.

Created by two of our Sage Elders in collaboration with an artist, The Cards are an innovative tool designed to share wisdom and practical guidance for navigating the complexities of being human. Presented as a portable and interactive pack of playing cards—with a meaningful twist—they offer a unique way to explore themes of connection, intentionality, and self-discovery.
(While there is a cost to purchasing a physical pack, all the content is freely accessible online at www.thecards.org. Any profits generated from sales go directly toward developing workshops and additional resources to support and expand the use of The Cards.)
These resources are here to remind you that support is always available—whether it’s through structured tools like The Cards or professional services tailored to your needs. Take the time to explore what resonates most with you.
Step 4: Let’s Grow Together: Join the Sage Community
You are not alone.
The Sage community is here to help you explore, share, and grow on your journey to flourishing
